The Cavalcade on Sunday started at the Pier Head, opposite the iconic Liver building.
"My car was the first as people entered. There is one photo near the Liver Building on the Sunday as we were queuing for the cavalcade. The weather was glorious. It was half-way through the cavalcade that the heavens opened - I felt sorry for the 'open-toppers'. There were supposed to be 175 cars (Cunard 175th anniversary), but I think there were more.

June 2015
Dear All
"I am a member of Poole Bay Classics and we hold our motoring extravaganza at Breamore House annually, the proceeds being by way of a donation to the local Dorset Air Ambulance.
This year I have been asked to co-compare the event and to put mine and Olly’s cars on display with a request that other Borgward Drivers’ Club members would be welcome at the event and if sufficient numbers attend a special area would be dedicated to the Marque.
Attached is the application form which if you are able to come needs to be completed and sent to Peter Stacey, The Show Chairman.
The idea is to have as many car club participants bring their cars into the ring and talk about them with particular reference to rarity, history etc.
It would be lovely to see as many at the event as possible and if you are interested, apart from completing and submitting the application form I would be grateful if you would contact me as well.
With kindest regards to you and yours.
Robert"

Robert Richmond-Jones "As you can see the old unit is well past its sell by date and I would urge all owners to check their Isabella steering doughnuts on a regular basis particularly as over the years oil and other detritus can compromise the material and the consequences can be extremely dangerous."
